Li Bai is to be indexed by Li but not Bai. I have corrected it. The others are to be indexed by their first words that are their surnames except Lao Zi who was not surnamed Lao. I have checked them. Chinese surnames traditionally precede given names. If you are unsure how to index East Asians in categories, I can generally answer you while I am probably the first Chinese-speaking user here.--Jusjih 12:38, 28 April 2008 (EDT)

The most of translations from them are supplied with parallel English text (bilingua): George Gordon Noel Byron William Blake Lewis Carroll Robert Browning Samuel Taylor Coleridge Elizabeth I Robert Herrick Leigh Hunt John Keats Edward Lear Crabb Robinson William Shakespeare Percy Bysshe Shelley Christopher Smart Robert Louis Stevenson William Wordsworth etc. Would you like to include them also into Wikilivres:Authors in the English section??? Painters v. Artists

Hello, Yes, "artists" is probably more suited than "painters". We could have sub-categories though. What do you think? Yann 11:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

I think "Artists" is wider notion than painter and can include oil painting, watercolour and drawing as well as many other techniques and even sculpture. But probably "Sculptors" is a bit different notion that can be separated (but inclided into "Fine art"). I do not know how this problem is solved by Wikipedia. May be we could check... I don't think it is a name, it is rather nick-name see: http://xazzar.livejournal.com/profile and written "xazzar". wrong template

Bilingual pages

Hi. In the Category:Deutsch there were many Russian titles (translations form German) and I wanted to clean it up as it is iritating a bit. After a while I noticed that some of these pages are bilingual. In the afternoon i will make it again and I think i will create some redirects in German (with the category Deutsch) so that in the category there will be german titles only. Hi Dmitri. Please see the talk User talk:Lozman#poem on on the changes of the template. If you need something else, so it would be better to create a new one, because the change is very great and the beeing template is used by some 1500 pages at the moment. Dear -jkb-, this much more refined version of the older template Template:Poem-on was accepted and already successfully used in the Russian Wikisource. I found it esthetically more advanced and asked Lozman also to change it here as well as in English Wikisource where I also use this. Could you explain your objections against this action, please?. Hi Dmitri. There is nothing agaist different templates with different formating. But I have found this template and I liked it. I saw it in some English and French texts. So I assumed it is used multilingually, by the whole project. In this case, it is OK to make some small improvements, but if somebody wishes a great change it should be discussed in the community first, I think. It is allright what the Russian Wikisource discussed - this is a project with some other users and languages (that is the point - and difference -, just like in the Oldwikisource). Hi Dmitri. See Benedikt Livshits. I have changed the TOC to a normal issue, as somebody had some objections because of the effects of the righttoc. As I wrote yxou already once one time somewhere, I use righttoc by myself as well, but only in cases when it is useful (the floating part is not beeing mixed with the content) and in no case in the main name space. Here it was mixed indeed (or you have a 22" monitor). Also, I shortened a bit the content, so that now it seems to be acceptable for all. OK? -jkb- 16:25, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
